| Discovery Walks: Experience the Seasons is a new "nature-al" field trip experience for preschools, child care programs, and kindergarten classes. Discovery Walks are designed to connect children to their natural world through focusing on changes each season brings. Each walk is led by an early childhood professional on a meandering path leading to Catoctin and Broad Run Creeks through 16 heavily wooded acres. The Discovery Walk includes an opening activity to introduce the seasonal focus for each walk, a fun-filled scavenger hunt, an art activity and a snack. Contact us for rates and availability |
