Can I apply the courses to my CDA training requirements?
- Yes, the courses were designed specifically to meet the training requirements for the Initial CDA
Credential and the CDA Renewal.
- 96% of our courses are also approved for Core of Knowledge training requirements of the Maryland
Child Care Credential Program
- The courses may also meet the Pre-Service and Continued Training requirements of the Office of Child
Care (OCC) for Licensing.
Can I take all 120 hours of training for only $259.99 (about $2.00 per class hour)?
- Yes, you have access to all training courses for one year including new courses that are added to the
course catalog during your subscription period.
If I have the Maryland 90 hour Course, can it apply to my CDA training requirements?
- Yes, If you have taken a Maryland 90 hour class (for credit, or not-for-credit) within the last 5 years,
those class/clock hours should count towards your 120 hour CDA training requirement. But, because
Maryland and the CDA are not exactly aligned, after taking our 45 hour Completer CDA course, you will
only need to take an additional 3 hours/.3 CEU’s of training to complete the 120 hour training
requirement

Can I take all 45 hours of Completer CDA training for only $129.99 (less than $3 per class hour)?
- Yes, you have access to 45 hours of Completer CDA training classes for one year
Can I take all 45 hours of CDA renewal training for only $129.99 (less than $3 per class hour)?
- Yes, you have access to 45 hours of CDA Renewal training classes for one year.
Can I take additional training at no additional cost?
- Yes, you also have access to additional areas of training such as Child Care Transportation (13 hours),
and Child Care Health Considerations (6 hours).
How do I get a completion certificate when I finish a course?
- You can print the certificate after successfully completing a course with a score of 70 percent or higher.
Go to the "My Courses" page (the page you see when you first log in) and select "My Courses". When
the list of courses you have enrolled in appears, look for the title of the course you completed and click
on the small certificate icon that appears at the end of the course title. The certificate will open and allow
you to print it. Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader (download link provided free) to view and print
the certificate.
Once I start a course, do I need to finish it before I log out, if I don't have time to finish it?
- No, you can log out at any time. The system will bookmark (remember) where you stopped. When you
reenter the course, it will take up where it left off.
Are there any discounts available for someone purchasing several subscriptions?
- INDIVIDUAL DISCOUNT – Individuals providing referrals who purchase the CDA Credential subscription
(120 hours), will be refunded $25 for each referral – maximum of 10.
- GROUP DISCOUNT - Child Care Centers, Family Child Care Associations, and other groups
purchasing 5 or more CDA Credential subscriptions (120 hours), can receive a sixth subscription at no
additional cost.
