Educare (formerly Dandelion Child Care) has been an
established program serving children and their families for
more than 25 years in the greater Frederick area. Our 7,000
square foot facility is nestled on 22 wooded acres just off of
340 at the Petersville exit. Our modern building has six
classrooms that support positive growth and development in
children ages 8 weeks through school-age.
Educare was accredited in June 2007 through the Maryland
State Department of Education. MSDE accreditation is a
voluntary process in Maryland that recognizes a high standard
of excellence in early childhood programs.
Educare does not discriminate on the basis of race, color,
religion, national or ethnic origin in the admission of students,
the employment of staff or in the administration of it's
programs. The center is committed to maintaining the diversity
of it's student body.
The center is open Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
