The Educare Family Association (EFA) has the expressed
purpose of supporting Educare Learning Center children
and families through program offerings and activities in an
effort to build community and enhance program offerings
for children. All families are members of the EFA upon
enrollment of a child in the center; EFA requires no fees for
participation in monthly meetings and planning of activities/events.

HOW DO I JOIN THE EFA? EFA Informational Flyer (Current Families)
It's very simple to join the EFA. Every parent and guardian with a student at Educare is
automatically a member.
WHAT DOES THE EFA DO?
The EFA holds meetings once a month that are open to everyone
- we hope that ELC families can come and share opinions and
offer help in areas of interest.
It is at these meetings that the EFA will brainstorm ideas for planning new events for students
and families. We also plan exciting, new fundraiser events to provide assistance to Educare
and the teacher's for those extra things to support the children's experience at Educare. And
we also use this time to discuss school-related topics and answer any questions from new
parents. No one is persuaded to participate in activities that do not interest them.
WHEN DOES THE EFA MEET?
The first Tuesday of each month from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Childcare is provided.
WHERE CAN I FIND THE EFA MEETING MINUTES?
The notes from each meeting are available below. If you cannot attend the EFA
Meetings, please take an active interest in your child's school by reading the
EFA Meeting Minutes and providing feedback to efa@educatewithcare.com.
HELP ENSURE SUCCESSFUL / FUN EVENTS
Almost all of the fun activities that we plan for the students cannot be successful without the
generosity and assistance of volunteers. Some events are held during the day but we also
hold many evening and weekend activities too. We encourage ELC families to consider being
an active member of the EFA.

30-8:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month. Come join us! All Educare
parents/guardians are welcome to attend. This will be an opportunity for parents to
network with each other and become a support system to the program to help plan family
events and raise funds to enhance program offerings and materials. Come with ideas!
Childcare will be provided. Contact the EFA at EFA@educatewithcare.com
