Dandelion is committed to working with families.  We strongly encourage
families to participate in every aspect of their child's program.  Parents
are welcome to visit the center any time.  Parents are encouraged to
share personal interests including hobbies, talents, cultural
backgrounds, favorite recipes, etc.  

It is vitally important that parents communicate regarding their child's
development openly with their child's teachers.  Parents are encouraged
to discuss developmental milestones and share any other information
that may be appropriate.  
Upcoming events for Dandelion Families:

  • See Dandelion's Home Page for a full calendar of upcoming
    events.
  • The next DFA meeting has been moved to Monday, August
    11 at 6:30 p.m. (Note: The August meeting has been moved to
    the second Monday of the month instead of the first Monday)
    This will be an opportunity for parents to network with each
    other and become a support system to Dandelion to help plan
    family events and raise funds to enhance program offerings
    and materials. Come with ideas!
  • Don't forget to recycle used books, cell phones, inkjet and
    laser cartridges!
  • Check out the  Dandelion Family Association Calendar of
    Events for 2007-8!  2008-9 DFA Calendar is on it's way!
  • Dandelion is now offering parent workshops to all Dandelion
    Families.  Sign up at the front desk.
